Eligibility Requirements or Criteria for Accessing Services
To get this service, you must be:
- Refugee, asylum seeker (registered and
unregistered) - Host community members
- Children living with disabilities
- Children from minority communities
- Children below 18 years
When applying, you need to have:
- Refugee alien card
- Kenyan birth certificate
- Proof sheet or manifest
- Kenyan Identity card
Accessibility
- The entrance to this location has a ramp
- This location has female staff
- This location has separate bathrooms for men and women
- All services listed are free of charge
- The latrines are separated by gender
- The latrines are adapted to persons living with disabilities
- Walkways to latrine that allows mobility assistance device (wheelchair, crutches, etc.)
- Latrines are fitted with special handles and handrails
- Spacious latrines with firm, even, and non-slip floors that allow movement
- Easy-to-open doors for persons with mobility challenges
- Toilets availed with a sitting toilet (pedestal) or bench rather than a squatting pan
- The education facility have a generator to supply power
