Eligibility Criteria :Tertiary Education Scholarships
- Be a holder of Valid Refugee Status (Have GoK Refugee Refugee ID /Waiting Card and UNHCR Protection Document
- National Identity Card for beneficiaries from host communities.
- Be 28 Years and below at the time of application
- Have original academic documents from a recognized academic institution
- Demonstrate financial need for education and strong contribution to community
- Not be benefitting from any other scholarship at the time of application
- Not on an immediate resettlement process
Academic Requirements
- Degree Course Requirements-Minimum KCSE C+ (Or equivalent) for Female Applicants and B- for Male applicants
- Diploma Course-Minimum KCSE C Plain (Or equivalent) for Female applicants and C+ for Male applicants.
Qualifications for Secondary Education Scholarship for Urban Refugees in Nairobi,Mombasa,Nakuru,Eldoret
Applicant must:
- Have obtained KCPE 350 Marks and above for Boys and 330 marks for girls joining Boarding.
- Have obtained KCPE 300 Marks and above for both Boys and Girls joining Day secondary Schools
- Have sat KCPE Exam from Public Primary Schools or low cost private Schools for Kitengela applicants
- Be a registered Urban Refugee or Asylum seeker with Valid Proof of Registration Documents
- Be not older than 16 years at the time of application
- Have secured admission into a public boarding or Day Secondary School.
- Not be a beneficiary of any other scholarship.
Qualifications for Children with Disabilities
Applicant Must:
- Be a child with disability registered as an urban refugee or asylum seeker
- Have strong motivation to join Primary, Secondary, Foundation, Intermediate, Prevocational or Vocational levels of study in a public school.
Qualifications for Grade 1 Support
Applicant Must:
- Be a registered Urban Refugee or Asylum seeker with Valid Proof of Registration Documents
- Be enrolled in Grade 1 at the time of application with proof of school admission form or acceptance letter.
- Be not older than 7 years at the time of application.
